Costume: Murderer

The murderer's character is most likely on the run or at least not part of society. He is also a little unhinged, which needs to reflect in his costume. He needs to look scruffy, mismatched and tired. I can take inspiration from the following characters:

Joel from The Last of Us:
This character is a protagonist but also tired, reflected in his overgrown facial hair and rugged appearance. Due to the crimes he has commited out if his universe he could easily pass as an antagonist. Although Joel is a lot older than an actor I could cast his costume can still be an inspiration. Dependent on the season he can wear multiple layers of clothing, often mismatched due to the various locations he might pick items of clothing up. The clothes are usually visible worn and dirty. He can be seen in checkered shirts, which is becoming a convention for homeless or on the run characters.

(Drug Addict) Sherlock from Sherlock:
In the series-3 finale 'His Last Vow' there is a sequence where Sherlock is undercover as a drug addict. He achieves this by dressing in very loose fitting clothes, including tracksuit bottoms and a rain coat. He looks tired as he is not clean shaven like his charcter usually is and the whole look is quite scruffy. This could be an inspiration to my charcters as it could suggest that he has let himself go or has issues that need dealing with.
